Welcome to Ana Bell Studio.
These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through our website and the use of the website itself. We have tried to keep them clear and readable while still setting out the practical terms under which we sell original artwork, drawings, studies, framed works, digital products and related services.
By placing an order through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Shipping & Returns Policy and Privacy & Cookie Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
1. About Ana Bell Studio

Throughout these Terms, “Ana Bell Studio”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating this website.
Serbian consumer and electronic-commerce rules require online traders to make identifying information such as the registered business name, address, registration information, contact details and, where applicable, tax information available to customers. Paragraf
2. Our Work
Ana Bell Studio may offer products and services including:
original paintings; drawings and studies; framed artwork; commissioned and custom artwork; ebooks and other downloadable educational material; digital content; and other art-related products or services introduced from time to time.
Not every category will necessarily be available at all times.
Because much of our work consists of original or handmade pieces, availability may be limited to a single item.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph artwork accurately.
However, colours may appear somewhat different depending on your display, lighting and device settings. Photographs of frames, interiors or staged environments may also be provided for presentation purposes.
Dimensions, medium, materials, framing and other important characteristics will be stated on the relevant product page where applicable.
Because original artwork is handmade, minor irregularities, surface variations, visible brushwork and characteristics of the materials are part of the nature of the work and are not necessarily defects.
If you would like additional photographs, dimensions or information before purchasing an original work, please contact us.
4. Prices
Prices shown on the website are the prices applicable at the time of purchase unless an obvious technical or administrative error has occurred.
Additional costs such as shipping, customs duties, import taxes or other destination-specific charges may apply.
Where a work requires individual shipping arrangements because of its dimensions, value, framing or destination, we may ask you to contact us for a shipping quotation before the order is completed.
We may change prices for future purchases at any time. A later price change does not alter the agreed price of an order that has already been validly concluded.
5. Orders
Placing an order through the website constitutes a request to purchase the selected item or service.
After an order is submitted, you will normally receive an electronic confirmation.
For unique artworks, availability is necessarily limited. If two customers attempt to purchase the same original work because of a technical error or simultaneous transactions, we will contact the affected customer and refund any payment that cannot be fulfilled.
We may also contact you before dispatch where additional information is reasonably necessary, for example for unusually large international shipments or customs documentation.
Nothing in this section affects rights that arise once a binding consumer contract has been concluded.
6. Payment
Available payment methods may include:
WooPayments, PayPal, bank transfer, cryptocurrency and other payment methods that we may add or remove from time to time.
The payment methods currently available will be shown during checkout.
Payments handled by third-party payment processors are also subject to the relevant provider's terms.
Ana Bell Studio does not directly store your complete payment-card details.
For bank transfers, an order may be held pending receipt of cleared funds.
For cryptocurrency payments, transaction processing may depend on the relevant network and payment provider. Unless otherwise required by law, blockchain transaction fees or exchange-rate changes outside our control are not treated as changes to the agreed purchase price.
7. Shipping
Physical orders are dispatched from Serbia.
We ship internationally and generally aim to prepare available works for dispatch within 2–5 business days.
All physical shipments are sent using a tracked postal or courier service.
Original artworks vary considerably in size, value, framing and packaging requirements. International shipping and customs requirements can also change. For larger or more complex works, we may therefore arrange shipping individually with the collector.

8. Customs and Import Charges
For international deliveries, the buyer is responsible for customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees and similar charges imposed by authorities in the destination country unless we expressly state otherwise.
We will provide ordinary commercial and shipping documentation where required, but we cannot control decisions, charges or delays imposed by foreign customs authorities.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that an item may lawfully be imported into their destination country.
9. Returns and the Right to Withdraw
For eligible physical products purchased at a distance, consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
For goods, the Serbian 14-day period generally begins when the consumer or an appointed third party takes possession of the goods. Lex Arhiva
Where the statutory right applies, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item where they were informed of that responsibility before purchase. Lex Arhiva
Refunds and returns are handled in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy and any mandatory consumer law that applies.
Returned physical artwork should be protected appropriately and, wherever reasonably possible, returned using its original protective packaging.
10. Original Delivery Costs on a Withdrawal
Where mandatory consumer law requires it, a refund following a valid withdrawal will include the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order.
If the customer chose a more expensive or expedited delivery method, the additional cost of that upgrade need not be refunded to the extent permitted by law. This reflects the current Serbian statutory rule for distance-contract withdrawals. Lex Arhiva
This is different from the cost of returning the item to us, which may be the customer's responsibility as described above.
11. Commissioned and Custom Artwork
Commissioned and custom work is arranged individually with the collector.
The price, scope, expected completion time, payment schedule and other material terms may therefore be agreed separately by email or another written agreement.
The normal dispatch period for available artwork does not apply to commissioned work.
Oil paintings may require additional drying time before they can safely be packed and shipped. The expected shipping period will therefore depend on the particular commission.
Goods produced to a customer's particular specifications or clearly personalized are among the categories for which the statutory withdrawal right may not apply under Serbian consumer law. Lex Arhiva
Any statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming work remain unaffected.
12. Digital Products
We may sell digital products including ebooks, educational material and downloadable content.
Unless a later delivery date is stated, digital products may be made available shortly after successful payment.
Digital content is licensed for the purchaser's personal use unless the product page expressly grants broader rights.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Where applicable law requires it, immediate delivery of digital content during the withdrawal period will take place only after the customer has expressly agreed to immediate performance and acknowledged the consequences for their right to withdraw.
Under current Serbian law, the withdrawal exception for paid digital content supplied without a physical medium depends on express consent to begin delivery during the withdrawal period, acknowledgement that the right will consequently be lost, and the required contractual confirmation. Lex Arhiva
A defective or materially non-conforming digital product remains subject to applicable consumer protections. Current Serbian law separately regulates conformity and remedies for digital content and services. Lex Arhiva
13. Digital Product Licence
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, purchasing a digital product grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own personal use.
You may not, without our written permission:
redistribute or resell the digital product; upload it for public distribution; reproduce it commercially; share purchased access or download links with others; remove copyright notices; or represent the work as your own.
Reasonable personal use, such as downloading an ebook to your own devices or making a personal backup copy, is permitted.
14. Copyright in Original Artwork
Purchasing an original painting, drawing or other physical artwork transfers ownership of the physical object to the buyer.
It does not automatically transfer copyright, reproduction rights or other intellectual-property rights in the artwork.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Ana Bell Studio and/or the artist retains the applicable copyright and reproduction rights.
The owner of an original artwork may of course display and enjoy the physical work privately and may later sell or transfer ownership of that physical work.
Commercial reproduction, merchandising, publication, licensing or exploitation of the image of the artwork requires separate permission where copyright continues to apply.
15. Images of Sold Artwork
Ana Bell Studio may continue to display photographs or reproductions of sold artwork on its website, portfolio, archive, social-media channels, printed materials or other promotional and documentary materials.
The sale of the physical original does not ordinarily require us to remove historical photographs or portfolio records of the work.
Any separately agreed exclusivity or reproduction arrangement will take precedence over this provision.
16. Framing
Where an artwork is sold framed, the product listing will indicate this where reasonably possible.
Frames are protective and presentation elements and may show small characteristics consistent with handmade, timber, vintage or artist-selected framing materials where applicable.
If framing is particularly important to your purchase decision, please contact us before ordering.
17. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If a physical order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and retain the artwork, packaging and shipping materials.
We may ask for photographs of the artwork, internal and external packaging, shipping label and visible parcel damage so that we can assess the situation and, where appropriate, raise a claim with the carrier.
Lost international shipments may require an investigation involving the original carrier, a local delivery partner or customs authority.
Because an original artwork is unique, an identical replacement may not be possible. These situations are therefore handled individually with the aim of reaching an appropriate resolution.

18. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Where a shipment is returned because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, failed to collect the shipment or refused delivery without a legal basis for doing so, reasonable additional costs arising from re-shipment or return transport may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.
This does not affect rights relating to defective, incorrect or non-conforming goods.
19. Customer Accounts
Creating an account is optional.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for providing accurate information.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, misuse, security concerns or serious breach of these Terms.
Information relating to customer accounts is handled according to our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
20. Website Content
Unless otherwise indicated, the artwork images, photographs, text, graphics, educational materials, branding and other original content published on this website are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.
You are welcome to browse the site and share ordinary links to its public pages.
You may not systematically copy, reproduce, scrape, republish, sell or commercially exploit website content without permission, except where permitted by law.
21. Educational Content
Blog posts, ebooks and other educational materials are provided for general artistic and educational purposes.
Art instruction necessarily involves individual judgement, materials, techniques and working conditions. Educational content should therefore be treated as guidance rather than a guarantee of a particular artistic result.
22. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website accessible and functioning correctly, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
We may temporarily suspend parts of the site for maintenance, updates, security work or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may also change the site's design, functionality, product range or services over time.
23. Errors and Technical Problems
Occasionally, a product description, availability status, shipping calculation or other information may contain an obvious technical or administrative error.
We will correct errors when discovered.
Where an error affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact the customer rather than silently substitute a different product, price or material term.
Any action taken in relation to an existing consumer contract remains subject to applicable mandatory law.
24. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including mandatory consumer protections.
To the extent permitted by law, Ana Bell Studio is not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For purchases made for commercial or professional purposes rather than as a consumer, additional limitations permitted by law may apply.
25. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
That policy explains the types of information we collect, the purposes for which it is used, relevant service providers, cookies, analytics and your privacy rights.

We would prefer to understand the problem and try to resolve it directly.
Nothing in this informal approach prevents a consumer from exercising any statutory complaint, conformity, withdrawal, dispute-resolution or other right available under applicable law.
27. Governing Law
These Terms and contracts concluded with Ana Bell Studio are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer and cannot legally be excluded by a choice-of-law provision.
Where mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim in another competent jurisdiction, these Terms do not remove that right.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our business, website, products or applicable law.
The version applicable to a purchase is generally the version presented when that purchase was made, except where a later change must apply by law or is expressly agreed with the customer.
The current version will always be available on this website.
